If you haven’t been keeping up with The Walking Dead, be forewarned that there are some very mild spoilers below.
That said, I think it’s safe to say we’ve all had enough of this mid-season hiatus. AMC this week released a new promo for the return of The Walking Dead: Season 5, and it’s all about surviving together as a group. The video doesn’t really give us much indication as to what will take place during the second half of the season, but producers and those involved have already said it’s going to be darker than we’ve seen before
Still reeling from the events that took place during the mid-season finale, the group is back on the road with no real destination. The teaser is pretty stylish, with the show’s survivors seemingly battling a horde of the undead in a foggy forest. Rick is still leading the pack, with Daryl, Michonne, Carol and the others close in tow. Eugene is back on his feet, which seems to suggest the group has accepted him despite his lies.
Either way, if you’re pumped for The Walking Dead’s return, you’ll only have to wait until Feb. 8, when the show finally makes its return.
