I can’t speak because I’m too damn excited.
A brand new trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron was released on Wednesday, and my only criticism is that the new movie isn’t here NOW. Because it looks pretty incredible.
The trailer is made up of almost entirely new footage, putting a lot of focus on the Ultron program and how it all goes awry. Poor Tony Stark rues his dreaded creation, while Ultron sits back like a forsaken king and plots humanity’s extinction.
Each new look reveals new information, and each new look reveals just how awesome the fight between Hulk and Hulkbuster is going to be. I’ve watched the trailer four times back to back and my mouth is still agape at how freakin’ awesome it looks.
The Avengers themselves don’t talk all that much. It’s mostly just Stark lamenting Ultron and his promise to protect humanity. But everyone makes an appearance—there’s a pretty spectacular shot of the group fighting in the forest, and it gives me goosebumps every time.
See the trailer for yourself up above. Ultron is forlorn. Stark is filled with regret. Thor is cocky. And Hulk is PISSED. Ultron and his army of sentinels will start taking our hope on May 1, when the movie is set to hit theaters.
