This new trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil series isn’t making the wait any easier.
We’re just one month out from the show’s arrival (April 10) on Netflix, and the latest footage gives us a pretty terrific look at the two main characters, Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. Murdock, of course, is Daredevil, while Fisk is the powerful and imposing Kingpin. Both men have two very different visions of what their city should be, leading to what will likely be a pretty awesome showdown at the show’s conclusion.
Like other Netflix shows, Daredevil will be dumped in one lump sum, which means you’ll be able to binge on all 13 episodes once it drops. I don’t know about you, but April 10 is looking like a pretty good day to take off work or school.
Like the first trailer we saw last month, Daredevil looks delightfully dark and gritty, a decidedly different take compared to the 2003 film. We get more of a glimpse at Murdock’s day job as a lawyer, along with Kingpin’s life as a powerful businessman. You know who else makes an appearance? Stick. He plays a very prominent role in Murdock’s early development, helping him harness his unique ability to “see.”
April 10 is the big day, so start preparing. Popcorn, soda, a comfy pair of sweats. I’m good to go.
