So far, we’ve only been given us a brief glimpse inside Riley’s head, but a fresh trailer on Tuesday takes us deeper into her many different emotions: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and Fear.
We were already pretty sure Pixar’s newest flick was going to be a winner, and this all but confirms it. Inside Out bears all the typical Pixar trademarks, demonstrating a wonderful balance between adventure, sharp satire and humor. The five different emotions attempt to juggle Riley’s mood as she deals with her new surroundings in San Francisco. But, as the trailer shows, it’s not as easy as it sounds.
There’s not much else to say. Just sit back and enjoy the brilliance of Pixar. There’s always something so unique and thrilling about Pixar movies, because not only are they wonderfully written, but they consistently take us to beautiful, imaginative worlds. This world just so happens to be in someone’s brain.
Inside Out is scheduled to hit theaters on June 19, 2015.
