See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloThe balance of content coming in and out of Netflix has been pretty uneven these past few months, but April may finally turn that slump around. There are some solid films going on hiatus from the service at the beginning of next month, but the absence will be made up by the arrival of Marvel’s Daredevil on April 10. Pen the date in your calendar, because it’s going to be a big event for Netflix subscribers, and we absolutely can’t wait to see Matt Murdock on our TV screens.
Some of the bigger movies leaving Netflix includes Clue, Good Morning, Vietnam, The Karate Kid and The Quick and the Dead. There are others, too, like a number of Friday the 13th flicks, but nothing you’ll really miss. I don’t think anybody here watched Mystic Pizza on a regular basis.
That said, the movies coming to Netflix aren’t much better; there are a lot of Leprechaun films, which you can get a laugh out of, and even a Crocodile Hunter film. But, barring those, the biggest movie hitting the service is probably The Babadook, an Australian horror flick that got some rave reviews last year.
But, really, it’ll be all about Daredevil next month. We’ve seen a few trailers for the upcoming show, and it looks terrifically dark and moody. And violent; we can’t forget about that. Daredevil certainly deserves better treatment than it got back in 2003, so we’ll see how the new show turns out. Start planning your binge-watching weekends now.
