A ton of Age of Ultron footage has been released over the past few months, and Marvel is still revealing tidbits here and there. A featurette about twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, otherwise known as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, has been released, giving us a more thorough look at their background. As expected, the two aren’t exactly friendly with the Avengers at first, but it looks like they eventually come around.
Of the two, I’m really liking how Scarlet Witch’s powers translate to the big screen. Not only does she have the ability to shoot people with beams of energy, but she can manipulate others in the worst ways. Definitely someone you want to have on your side. There’s a lot of emotional depth to the two characters from what we can tell, which is refreshing with so many big names involved; it adds yet another layer of complexity to the story.
If you don’t want to see this new footage, skip the video above. But if you can’t get enough of Age of Ultron (like me), then you’ll watch it multiple times. Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to come out on May 1, 2015.
