The context around the scene being filmed is less apparent. Is Batman just trying to get the Joker’s attention? Is Batman partaking in the dangerous art of car surfing, first made famous by Michael J. Fox in Teen Wolf? Perhaps not; however, people on set have said that Batman is definitely attempting to get inside Joker’s car. Why not just open the door? It’s never that easy
While the pictures do reveal Batman and Joker are on the Suicide Squad set, it’s not actually Ben Affleck in the bat suit, or Jared Leto under all that makeup. First of all, there’s no way the studio would risk putting Affleck on top of a moving car, and, second, Jared Leto probably couldn’t drive that expensive supercar the way the hired professional can. We do, however, learn that Margot Robbie, who is playing Harley Quinn, is in the car with the Joker. What are they up to? Trouble.
Judging by the pictures, whatever is happening in this scene doesn’t look friendly. Suicide Squad is still over a year out from release, but it feels a lot closer than that given how much we’ve seen of the film already. The film will hit theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
