Batfleck may be too delicate to perform his own stunts, but the same rules don’t seem to apply to Margot Robbie. The young Australian actress, currently filming Suicide Squad, was seen on set doing a motorcycle stunt, proving that when you play Harley Quinn, danger is always around the corner.
OK, saying she’s doing her own stunt is probably very generous; she’s simply hooked up to a harness as she sits on a stationary motorcycle. It appears the contraption pulls the motorcycle along the ground, as if it’s skidding, while Robbie is held up by the harness. As you can see in the Instagram video included at the source link, it appears the scene potrays Robbie stopping in order to confront the Joker, who is following close behind her.
Quinn isn’t her in usual getup, instead dressed in a more casual mom outfit. The context around the scene isn’t entirely clear, but it certainly appears as though Joker is attempting to win back the love of Quinn. And, come on, Harley riding a Harley? Awesome.
Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on Aug. 5, 2016.
