Disney has been very careful about what—and who—it shows off regarding Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We’ve seen a few different glimpses of some of the new characters, and only recently did we get a look at Han Solo and Chewbacca. But where’s Luke and Leia?
A new image claims to show off what Carrie Fisher will wear as Princess Leia in The Force Awakens. It’s not much, though the images do confirm a render that made the rounds earlier in the year. Since the images are blurry, it’s difficult to tell what we’re looking at. Her outfit looks fairly plain—black vest, gray pants and a gray shirt. The thing that stands out the most is the huge belt buckle.
Disney is expected to have a big presence at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, so there’s a very good chance we’ll see more new footage. But whether or not said footage will be available on the Internet remains to be seen. Companies tend to show off exclusive sneak peaks to Comic-Con audiences as a special treat. My guess is that whatever Disney shares will be made available right away.
We’ll see if Princess Leia does show up in whatever footage Disney shows off. She’s likely being kept under wraps as to not spoil the plot. Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
