Comedy Central has extended its contract with South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone for another three seasons. The former contract would see the series wrap itself up after 20 seasons in 2016, but the extension will guarantee the show remains on the air until 2019 and pull it across the 300 episode mark.

Parker and Stone will continue to be the creative voice behind the show with both writing and directing credits.

South Park remains the bedrock of Comedy Central and we are thrilled that new episodes will continue to entertain audiences for years to come,” said Michele Ganeless, president of Comedy Central, in a press release. “The series remains as urgent and relevant now as the day it premiered and at nearly 20 seasons in it continues to draw generations of new fans.”

Hulu will also retain exclusive streaming rights thanks to a new $192 million deal with South Park Studios that will cover the upcoming seasons. The Hollywood Reporter claims that this is the largest exclusivity deal that Hulu has made, even beating out the $160 to $180 million deal reportedly written to snag up the right to Seinfeld.

Season 19 will debut on Sept 16. this year, and both Parker and Stone have commented that they will not stop until they are canceled.
