Want to know more about Spider-Man: Homecoming, the upcoming solo reboot coming next year? While Sony probably wants to wait a few months before revealing key details flick, BirthMoviesDeath got an important scoop from a little birdie while at CinemaCon in Vegas this week.

According to the site’s Devin Faraci, Vulture is going to appear in Homecoming though it doesn’t sound like he’ll be the only villain Spider-Man goes up against.

The Vulture will be in this movie. Will he be the main baddie? Will he be a villain Spidey has to defeat in an opening scene? I don’t know, although old rumors that passed by my ears indicated a non-main villain role for the old bird.

Apparently, Sam Raimi, who directed the Spider-Man trilogy that starred Toby Maguire, wanted to use Vulture back in the day but was undermined by executives at Sony. Considering the movie’s title and Marvel’s involvement, including Vulture would certainly be a big middle finger to how the studio previously handled the beloved web-slinger.

Vulture was one of Spider-Man’s earliest villains, appearing all the way back in 1963. The character, real name Adrian Toomes, invented a special harness that gave him super strength and also allowed him to fly. Even if he’s not in the movie for very long, the filming possibilities for a villain of this caliber will no doubt make for some terrific entertainment.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
