This has been the summer of horror. James Wan’s The Conjuring 2 was one of the few sequels to succeed in a dilapidated sequel season, Netflix’s 80’s inspired series Stranger Things riveted viewers with the strange happenings of Hawkins, and now American Horror Story season 6 is here to scare the daylights out of you with its new teaser.
The teaser begins with a foggy view of an abandoned train track with a blurry figure walking through the mist. Slowly the creature, which resembles a human body but is anything but, creepily crawls closer and closer until he’s right in plain view just before the screen cuts to black. This teaser is only 15 seconds long, but it gives a big idea about what to expect. It’s not for the faint of heart
American Horror Story is known for concocting disturbing creatures to scare audiences—who can forget Twisty from season four?—and this continues the tradition. Past cast members Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, and Lady Gaga are returning for the sixth season.
