Suicide Squad holds on to the top of the box office for a third weekend

Suicide Squad was able to hold on to the top of the box office for a third weekend taking in $20.71M for a new domestic total of $262.28M and a global take of $572.68M off of a $175M budget.

2. Sausage Party

Sausage Party slipped 55.3 percent in its second weekend to take in another $15.32M for a new domestic total of $65.32M off of a $19M budget.

3. War Dogs

Based on a true story, War Dogs took in a nice $14.3M in its opening weekend to land in third place.

Kubo and the Two Strings landed in fourth place in its opening weekend with $12.61M.

5. Ben-Hur

The remake of Ben-Hur didn’t fare too well in its opening weekend with just $11.35M off of a $100M budget.
