Sony keeps adding more Marvel ammo to help revive its flailing Spider-Man franchise. After letting Marvel introduce the character to the MCU in Captain American: Civil War, and signing Robert Downey Jr. to the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming, it’s also bringing Jon Favreau into the fray.

Jon Favreau portrayed Happy, Tony Stark’s chauffeur, on top of directing the first two Iron Man movies, but he’s hardly the big name we’ve come to expect from these crossovers. Nevertheless, this still adds some much-needed goodwill and familiarity to the next Spider-Man movie. Happy was not a major character, but he served to provide levity and comedic relief and should excite Iron Man fans.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will revolve around a younger Peter Parker and if his appearance in Civil War is any indication, he’ll bring lots of energy, which should flow seamlessly with Favreau’s character. Most recently, Favreau directed The Jungle Book, which earned glowing reviews.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters July 7, 2017.
