The first season of Netflix’s Voltron Legendary Defender both satisfied our nostalgia and left us hungry for more of the new Voltron Force. It ended pretty suddenly, though, with the team scattered and viewers wondering what comes next.
This week at New York Comic Con, the team behind the show released a new trailer for the upcoming second season that hints at tragic events to come. If you remember the original Voltron: Defender of the Universe, you probably have a good idea of just what that is.
The first season of Legendary Defender did a great job of developing the members of Voltron Force, taking special time with Pidge and Hunk, while giving us time with the leader, Shiro, throughout the season. We’re looking forward to this second season pulling us deeper into the story, and the trailer has us stoked already.
The second season is reportedly still coming this year, and the producers have a presentation scheduled for October 7 at New York Comic Con, so we can expect to hear more about just when it’ll come and what we can expect then.
