‘Legends of Tomorrow’ trailer gives first look at the team

We only recently received confirmation Legends of Tomorrow is coming to TV next year, and now we have our first look of the new show in action. The trailer, which is comprised of some familiar footage, is basically meant to set up what’s to come. The unlikely band of misfit heroes will face off against an immortal being known as Vandal Savage, and a whole host of other baddies.

Flash and Arrow have already been established as their own stand-alone shows, and Legends of Tomorrow will bring it all together for one beautiful ballet. In addition to guest spots from Arrow and Flash, the group will feature Hawkgirl, White Canary, Captain Cold, Heatwave, The Atom, Firestorm, and one very special guest.

Here’s the official synopsis:

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat—one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?
