See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloApple Music is officially live, as part of the release of iOS 8.4 from Apple, and you can now give it a whirl. Apple Music is the company’s answer to unlimited streaming services such as Spotify and will eventually cost $9.99 per month. You get a free 3-month trial, however, so you can play around with the service before you decide if it’s worth switching from another option.
The service also includes Beats 1 radio, Apple’s new 24/7 radio station that will include shows from famous musicians around the world. Additionally, Apple has sealed deals with artists such as Taylor Swift for her album 1989, which isn’t available anywhere else, and an exclusive album from Dr. Dre, too. As of Monday, it appeared that AC/DC was going to be exclusive to Apple Music, though the band’s albums are also launching on Spotify and Rdio.
